We’re Building A Movement

Youth at TableEvery year, more than 29,000 teenagers “age-out” of foster care. In this bureaucracy, turning 18 years old means the loss of all of their support systems overnight.

Placed in foster care after experiencing abuse and neglect, many of these kids have no family, no diploma, no money, and no place to go. Statistics show that, without intervention, most end up uneducated, homeless, incarcerated, or pregnant within two years.

Rising Tides is built on the belief that, with financial and emotional support, these young people can succeed. Their life experiences give them the resilience, persistence and strength of character to shape the future of our country.

The smallest things – school supplies, bus passes, college textbooks, a savings account – can make the difference for these promising students. Donating $10 or $100 can turn the tide for a young person - from adversity to prosperity.

Because 100% of your donation goes to the young person you choose to champion, you’ll experience the impact of your gift – as you share their successes and cheer them on through the challenges.

Together, we can change lives.
